Regatta Ale
Earlier in the year a competition was held to name a new Skinner's ale, to be brewed specially for the Regatta activities in Falmouth. The winning entry submitted by Andrew Turner was 'Manacles' - this easy drinking quaffing beer with superb hoppy aromas is destined to be added to everyone's Skinner's favourites list. Look out for this special ale on sale during the Regatta.
Skinner's are the main sponsor for activities in Falmouth. Daily tours are available at the brewery located in Truro and the shop stocks an excellent selection of local beers on top of Skinner's own, also available for purchase on the website shop.

Tall Ships and Small Ships '08
Official Limited Edition Print by John Dyer
 Internationally acclaimed artist John Dyer is supporting the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta as the official artist. He has produced a magnificent Tall Ships painting that features on the printed programme and as the Official Print. Prints are supplied unframed on a first come first served basis – only 350 prints, signed and numbered by the artist are available.
The print is on display during the regatta at three information points including Falmouth Tourist Information Centre on Prince of Wales Pier. The Official Limited Edition Print for the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta is available to order now at £95. Free delivery if ordered during the event.

Regatta Clothing
The official souvenir clothing for Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta in Falmouth has been designed by Seasalt, Cornwall's very own ethical clothing company. The organic cotton tee's, hoody's and jute bags are characteristic of the company which is celebrated for its ethical, fun and colourful approach to fashion. 10% from sales will be donated towards the organisational costs of the Regatta activities in Falmouth. Shanty CD
Falmouth Shout has released a new CD Falmouth for Orders for the Regatta with a mix of traditional shanties and sea songs. Many of the sixteen tracks are rousing work songs like Old Billy Riley and Roll the Woodpile Down, whilst others such as Shenandoah and the beautiful Connemara Cradle Song exemplify Falmouth Shout's main difference from most sea shanty groups - half of them are female! A proportion of the profits from the sale of every CD will be donated towards the costs of staging the event in Falmouth and towards the RNLI. John Dyer ‘Tall Ships Paintings’ Auction
