Sarie Marais of Plym
Sarie Marais of Plym is owned and run by the Royal Marines, based at Plymouth (UK), but races with a crew of eight from throughout the forces. She is a regular in the Tall Ships' Races, but previous trips have taken her west to the USA and Antigua and east to Cyprus and the Mediterranean.
Sarie Marais was the winner of the ISTA trophy of the International Sail Training Association in 2000 for making the best contribution to international cooperation during the Tall Ships 2000 Race.
